My kitty had started going downhill real bad on the weekend... When I got her in they ran some tests and told me she was having Kidney Failure. It was really bad. He gave me an IV Bag with antibiotics, fluids, and Vitamin B to give her once a day and said that in 3 days we would know if it was going to help her or not. On day 3 she ended up having a "siezure like" fit and I thought she had died. Finally she started breathing again, and I believe she was unconscious for about an hour and finally when she awoke she had one pupil looking normal while the other pupil was paper thin. She would try to get up and walk and her paws were going up into the air, like a kitty playing with some string, even her back paws. Then she would topple over onto her side. I ended up taking her in and the Vet said he's never seen a cat come back from something like this before, and we did end up putting her to sleep, but now that it's done, I really wish I knew what happend! I would like to know so I can be informed if anything like this ever happens again, if it was something I did, or unfortunately just the luck of the draw, so I can do what I can do to prevent something like this from ever happening again.
