Hi, all
Guys are doing great and doing a big mess!
White ones have a small black "dirt" in the nose sometime, that I clean with filtered water.
Is it bad sign?
I doesnt worry me much because I'm thinking it can be caused for scratches when they play fighthing - they love that !
I myself have some of those "scars" in my arms now, they are always climbing me :-)

It was NOT heat ( except if we mean hot weather :-))
She is probably up to for a long time already but never meows / stratches for, maybe because she is not closed.
The only one i hear meowing is the male...
Hope i can get the surgery on time.

oh that is sooo sad my heart goes out to you, you have seen these boys born and grow and have given them so much love these past 2 months, now it is time to say goodbye and it is like giving our children away..we worry will they be loved, happy cared for like I was doing?
I feel bad for you but also very proud of what you have done for Loreena and her babies, without you they may not have survived...now they have homes and very good chances for a good and happy life...
have happy tears for them.
Oh the scratching and meowing could mean she is going into heat and soon could become pregnant again, I am glad you are getting her surgery soon!!

Time to say bye- bye to Simon and Spot ... :(
Thankfully they are 2 mo kittens strong and active,probably quite health.And they are at this moment going to new houses make someone happy as I was with them. My cousin (that never had an animal) that lives in another city nearby will keep Simon to her daughter (that is afraid of,btw) and take Spot to her mother in law that is down with a dog about to die...
Hope I did the right thing...

I think, if that 's what it is in your case, the mother cat probably passed it to the kittens. Since they play together they could all have it. Its not that big of a deal. In fact its pretty common. The vet gave me drops to put in the cat's ear I think it was a couple of times a day for several days. You'll really have to take the kitten to the vet to be sure exactly what you're dealing with.
Interesting ... hope its not that.
If so how can we solve the thing, they are less than 2 months still ?

I could not see any mite yet but its possible...
PK, I'm sure ITS NOT THE SKIN COLOUR , they were not born with . The only one that could cause this confusion is a tiny light gray one Spot was in his forehead.

One time one of my cats had what you're talking about and it turned out to be related to ear mites. You know how the cats will lick their paws and rub their paw over the ear and down across the nose only to lick their paw again. I don't think I explained that too well but even a tiny bit of ear mites can evidently cause this small amt of residue. Just a thought. Linda

Hey, are you sure wat you see in their noses isn't just natural skin stain? Maybe from the food? You know, this is funny but it isn't really. Abby has a black stain in his nose, too. When he was a kitten, I tought that stain was dirt, and I'd get a wet cloth and rub it, and keep rubbing it, and the poor thing would get so mad at me LOL. Poor thing wanted to tell me the wet cloth was just hurting him. Are you able to clean some of that thing from their noses?

Needless to say, Loreena is tired of the new feed... I know she would start eating ok when hungry, now she got used to eating all day long and I'm afraid it will took a long time to return to 2x a day routine - if so!
But I cant keep her hingry or she can look for and eat dangerous stuff around!

awww...she loves the food...my Sami too when I found this fish diet he just ate and ate, wanting a meal 4-5x a day..had to ration him to less!
how old are the kittens now? you probably can soon start introducing them to kitten food.
I would LOVE to babysit them for you for a few days..that would be fun, long time since I've had a kitten around..enjoy.

Stuff is always there ,stopped trying to remove it since it bother the kitten.
Loreena ate that new food ALL THAT DAY LONG and wake me up 4AM to keep doing that since I cannot let that near the kittens; soon she will be fed up of ...
Mercifully she let me sleep today morning til about 7AM before start scratching the door...

Yes,its alike. Or the like "scar tissue '' formed when you have a supeficial skin damage.
Girls play the same way but I cant notice that because they are black.Some times they do it in couples...
I would love if I could let then one or two days taking vacation in your house :-)
They are lovely and I will miss then but I'm completely exhausted.
Loreena got me worried 3 times this last weeks ,apparently it not important but she is my first cat
After a slight diarhea and half a rainy Monday day not eating or drinking and I calling after another vet, the stuff ended fine.Last day I had to buy a new ration she wanted eat but no one of the 4 I had home,she wanted the sachet I had offered previous night and at first she just licked (she loves that) .
She had taken forever to eat that and just drank next

I'm not sure what those black marks could be???...does it look like dried blood from fighting?? I can't say I've ever come accross that.
Must be so much fun to see them playing together, it is so cute, I really miss that when they grow older...
I wish my 2 boys would play with each other, never did...2 males not a good combo.
