My cat licked my cut?

I had a small cut on my hand and I'm worried she may have ingested some blood, even if just tiny particles or something. I don't think it was bleeding but being a cut there was still blood there you know?

If she ingested anything it would have been a very small amount but is anything bad going to happen? I worry about her a lot because she's old and we can't afford to take her to the vet so I hope I'm just overreacting here. I've heard of pets licking wounds before but my cat is also an indoor cat only so I'm not sure how her immune system would react to such a thing.

Annie is right - even if you have/had some blood transmissible disease a cat wont get it .Cats and humanes share just a few diseases and they are not blood related.

It won't hurt little Vampira even if she drank liquid blood from your cut, and probably won't hurt you; just watch your hand to be sure you don't get an infection from her mouth.
