Thank you for your replies. The ointment we are using is called Neobacimyx. It is safe if she gets it in her mouth or eyes but I think the medication just isn't staying on her long enough to be much help.
Since the ringworm is just on her head I think a e-collar will work good so were going to give it a try. Thanks for your help and suggestions.

hi Randy....poor kitty must be miserable. Is the Vet positive its ringworm? has he done a culture?
I haven't ever dealt with ringworm and cats myself....but I do alot of reading on holistic sites for more natural treatments cats/and me..so sorry I know nothing about the medication or how young to give. If you tell me the name of the med. I can look up under my veterinary drug site and see what they say...
one thing holistic people recommend for ringworm treatment is COLLOIDAL SILVER...have you ever heard of this? it can be controversal, but they claim as long as you buy this ONE particular brand its perfectly safe for our kitties...and its effective for both bacterial and fungal infections.
they recommend one drop 2-4x per day for 2 weeks...(small drop)
this brand is ok for kitty to lick b/c its safe both topically and internally.
I have used it and I keep it on hand for various skin outbreaks...this recommended brand is hard to fine, I have found it thru a herb company I deal with in CA the place is called iherb and they are a very good co. to deal with. shipping is only abt $4.
If you do order, quote this from me and you'll get a few $10 first order. SED957
