Hi...Okay, so I have a female cat, Lucy, and she is a little over one year old. I got her in September of last year. Her owner before me, had rescued her, and had only had my cat for about six months. Anyways, three times since we have had Lucy she has contracted a urinary tract infection. Over the past few days, she has been showing the signs of getting yet ANOTHER one. Tonight, while sitting on my couch I noticed her trying to pee on some clothes on the floor. When I went to remove her she had left behind something other than pee/poo. It is a small 3/8 of an inch by 1/4 inch sphere. It isn't hard or soft, it will not separate. It stays in a consistent shape, it almost feels like a gel cap. There is small traces of blood in the ball...what could this possibly be? Thanks to anyone who has any input. It is very much appreciated.
If kitty isn't on a wet food diet already please be sure you change, this is the biggest culprit.
b/c dry food is too dehydrating. Kitties obtain 90% of their liquids from their diets.
.struvite crystals are formed in alkaline urine and oxolate in an acidic environment.

kitty will still need to see a Vet asap. if this wasn't a plug than she still perhaps has a partial blockage and possibly an infection...she is without a doubt in a great deal of discomfort.
good luck and keep us posted....(hugs) to kitty.
