bald spot on cat

I noticed a bald spot on my 8 year old cat Molly.  It's on the caudal 1/3 part of her belly.  It looks like someone shaved her.  Do you have any ideas as to what it might be?  Thanks.

How does the skin look?

Is she a compulsive groomer?

Has she had history of fleas and/or ticks?

Is she indoor or outdoor?

Got any kids at home?

If she is an outdoor kitty maybe she got picked up for a TNR (trap neuter release)  they shaved her, noticed a spay scar and set her loose...
