cat vomitting

Hello! My cat is approx. 7 months old and she vomitted her breakfast this morning, which i didn't find too odd.. i figured she ate too fast and she was playing immediately after so i figured it was ok but she has vomitted twice since then and it's all liquid it's pinkish/light brown and i don't know if it's just indigestion or if i should be rushing her to the vet. she is still playing and acting relatively normal, besides being alittle less affectionate then she usually is. any feedback is appreciated!

alot of cat foods also have dyes in them that color the food/vomit the pink color. your cat could just have a sensitivity to the food. is it a new food? you could try a food for sensitive tummies and only give a little bit at a time but give it frequently. cats generally dont act different even if they are sick so if she does start acting different I would take her in to the vet IMMEDIATELY!

hi tess, if she vomited 3 times the reddish color could also be caused from irritation...I would wait a day and see if she holds down her other meals and if NOT or if you see anymore bloody vomit than I would sure take her in for some tests...

good luck, let us know okay...if ever in doubt about her condition do not hesitate to take her to see a Vet asap.

Pinkish brown vomit equals blood in her tummy.  Go to the vet.
