New kitten won't eat or play. VERY LETHARGIC.

I have a 16 week old Kitten that I just got 2 days ago. The first night he was so playful, used the litter box, and ate. As of yesterday, he is very lethargic, hasn't ate.
I took him to the vet this morning & of course he ate some treats, walked around, etc. They gave me an anti-biotic & I we went home.
Now at home, he still hasn't ate. He gets up only to go lay somewhere else & I am at a loss. I bought some cat milk to try to force feed, but only want to do that as a last resort.
It is Monday & I don't get paid again until Thursday. However, I could probably ask family for help.
More info: I got him from my boyfriend's parents & he was an outdoor cat.

perhaps try a different food....to entice him to try and eat. can would be the best option,however its not good to do a rapid change from dry to wet...so only give him a small amount just to see if this will stimulate his desire to eat..., if it works than mix some in with his meow mix (than decreasing this more each day)
he MUST eat, so try anything to spike his interest...can foods, a little tuna or salmon juice sprinkled on top...even some human food like pieces of cooked chicken(without the bones of course) this can't be fed as a steady diet but can be used to pick up an appetite occasionally.

I sure hope this little guy rebounds......whatever you do DO NOT allow your Vet to give any vaccinations to an already under the weather kitten, those can wait until he's healthy again.

I put up all cleaners before we got him & I don't have any house plants.

are there cleaners or other chemicals anywhere in your home that he could have gotten in contact with? or a plant?

I am giving him Meow Mix Kitten Formula...the same he'd been getting. The temp has remained the same too.
