Miss Teia was standing guard by the window as the landlady's boss cat strolled by. She just watched with interest, no through the glass boxing match as sometimes happens.
White Momma is also 14 and rules over Rusty (an 18 year old orange stripe kitty) and her son Tuxedo Kitty (who is 12 and wears a nice formal black and white suit).

'The little victories"....for sure, Pip, for sure. :)
Although I don't love stray cats around due to disease, Jade has made a new friend herself. Dh mentioned he'd seen a large black cat hanging around; well, this kitty is a beautiful, long haired, enormous lookin' male(?). I only saw it briefly, but Jade was right next to it seeming almost to be saying 'wanna play?" :)

...and Miss Chessie continues to come downstairs a little more regularly, even visited the downstairs litter pan this afternoon that the other two use.
