Hi Spark,

Absolutely agree with Melinda. my mom's cat had HIV but lived to be 12 years with proper meds. So don't give up on this little one. Do have to isolate from any other cats, but plenty of one on one love will be sufficient for a very happy life!

Good luck and I too thank you for being such a good hearted person to take this ailing baby into your heart and home.

Hello.

I'm glad you took in your former neighbor's kitty.  And I'm so sorry that he/she has feline aids.

From what you've said this poot kitty is suffering and needs to see a vet immediately.  The vet can determine whether the symptoms are treatable or if this is the kitty's time to be eased into passing on.

Do you have any other cats?  If so, this kitty should be isolated from them.

Please take him/her back to your vet right away.

  Thanks for helping this kitty.

Blessings to you both,
  Melinda
