a female patient aged 12 years had encephalitis. could she had post encephalitic cerebral palsy?

Hi. Some cases of cerebral palsy have been linked to inflammation of the brain caused by encephalitis. If you think your child has developed speech and mental difficulties, and poor motor control after the infection, it might be best that you bring her to a neurologist for evaluation and management.
