2 year old refuses to sleep.. Teething?

HI there,

I have a 2 year old son that used to have a very regular schedule.. he sleeps by 9pm latest and wakes up at 9am. Naps for an hour or so. Recently, within the last month, started not wanting to go to bed. We would try to put him to bed with our regular routine that we normally do. but when its time to lay down in his crib, he would scream ever so loudly and cry his eyes out.. His bed time has been sooo late past few days due to him crying andscreaming refusing to lay down. He doesnt sleep til midnight and wakes up at 4am doing the same thing.. crying and screaming.. no matter how we console him its never enough.. we ended up bringing him to our guest bedroom and laying in there with him til the about 9am. What is going on? Is his 2nd molar coming out causing this drama?? We are really at lost and very very tired of this game he is playing.. Please help..
