Then when she finally does pass out she dosent sleep all night she wakes up constantly during the night screaming and fussing, me nor the wife can get any sleep what so ever, I understand she can be teething but I know she is not teething 24/7/365. NO SLEEP FOR ME OR HER OR THE WIFE and its causing us to be ill with each other and everyone around us because we hear nothing but screaming and crying and screaming and crying and hollering. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE HELP ME........... the child is in the same room as us (YES I KNOW THIS IS A MAJOR NO-NO) we have a single wide trailer with two bedrooms one of which is occupied by my wifes son that is 13 and the other by me, my wife, and our 18 month old daughter that SCREAMS and HOLLARS and SCREAMS AND HOLLARS for hours on end until we pull our hair out get in an argument and the child finally throws up from being so pissed off and screaming and complete and utter shear exhaustion passes out for the night after about an hour of the fighting sleep. She will not go to bed at night, she has days she is too big for naps and thinks that she dosent need naps ever.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP US............ I know a child is a major responsibility but people have to rest also at some point or another.

I would also ask, how much exercise is she getting in the daytime, if any?  The screaming sounds abnormal, but an 18-month-old resisting sleep is very normal, and part of what helps is making sure the child is physically dog-tired.  See the doctor, for sure, she might have some kind of condition.  It's true that an overtired child can act like she is acting, and that trying an earlier bedtime is smart also, but get her some exercise.  Running, jumping, working all the large muscles.

Time to talk to her pediatrician.  Is she at least in her own bed?  She needs to be.  And she needs to be put to bed earlier.  Say around 7:30.  Before you go to bed.  And she gets in her room/bed for bedtime. And that is it. Leave her in her bed.  If she gets out, take her straight back and keep doing it without talking to her other than saying "go to sleep>"  And the next day when she has trouble doing something and is tired, you tell her it is because she doesn't sleep enough.  We need sleep.

But if it is bad as you say, it could be something neurological going on and she may have an overactive nervous system.  Talk to your pediatrician.  This is not normal for an 18 month year old.  good luck

Gracious.

Is this new for her?  Or has she been like this since birth?

It might be helpful if you could write out an actual time chart.  You speak in hyperbole,  saying you never get no sleep whatsoever but you'd be dead by now if you didn't get any sleep whatsoever.

So it's helpful if yo actually look at the reality of exactly what the time frames are here for her sleep.

Have you talked to her pediatrician?
