6-year old w/seziure disorders

I have asked for help with my son from his school and I'm hitting a brick wall. My 6-year old was diagnosed with seizure disorders when he was two. Now he is in first grade and he is not listening in class, standing on top of desks, hitting other children and on Friday he hit his teacher and now has three days suspension from school. I have had several talks with his teacher and she doesn't know what to do so he pretty much does wait he wants in her class. He only does that in her class. He is the type of child that if you don't set boundaries he will push your buttons. But how do I get him to do his work and behave at school like he does at home and at church (with certain teachers) at church he misbehaves with teachers who don't set boundaries. We talk about his behavior and I discipline him. He loves computers and the library. I take away those privileges when he has a bad day at school. Also I've noticed a pattern in his communication book that goes between the teacher and myself. I've noticed that on the days that he is not misbehaving the notes state that he was hit or hurt by another child in the class. I've asked the administrators to help me help the teacher with the class or move my son to a teacher who will set boundaries and work with me so I can go to work because I'm a single mom and I'm a college student as well. The principal has refused to move him.  I am considering ADHD meds since we was diagnosed earlier this year. The seizure meds are still a concern however I can't stop the meds because his EEG shows seizure activity. I don't know what to do.

I had a seizure when I was 18 and they put me on meds for it because they said since I had a fever seizure when I was 2, that makes twice.  I would like to know which med he is on.  And the dose, and how often he has his seizures without his meds?
The med I was on made my attitude change.  Think about it, these are meds for his brain, so it's not uncommon that people have mood issues while on them.  My biggest one was I couldn't consentrate at all.  This was proven when I did college placement tests, at first I got an F on an English college placement test, and I knew it was due to the meds.  Well, I waited to go to college a year later when I was off them, and I took the same English Placement test and got a B on it.
