8 yr old fear of tornados

After a windy night, the 8 year old girl is obsessing about tornados. Looking out window, etc.

Thanks, You are right. A storm hunter guy was real exited onT.V., and my grandaughter thought he was afraid, but he had been trying to be in a tornado for 5 years and got to be in one.
  School restarted today, and that's a help.

Sounds like me and I'm 44.  Has she been in a tornado or seen one of t.v.?  This is normal for her age and older children.  It is scary when the wind blows.  You will just have to reassure her.
