Bedwetting

My 6 1/2 yr old son took meds from 2-4 to help him sleep at night, which put him in a deep sleep. He gas been off the meds for 2 1/2 yrs and he still cannot wake himself up to use the bathroom. How can I help fix this?

Make sure he has a his last drink early evening, and its not something like soda that stimulates the bladder ans uses the bathroom last thing before bed ..Children often wet the bed until about 7 year old maybe later ..it takes its course .is he dry during the day, does he get on okay at school no problems .?
