thank you il give it a go
There you go ..so try doing what he said , it does work... focus on his positive side and praise him when you see him doing something right, children and indeed all of us respond to that ..
thanx for your comment. funny his dad has said the same to me......... ignore bad behaviour but focus on the good and reward it.
Sounds to me like you have a control battle going on does a 'wee white lie ' warrant going to bed early which is what I assume you mean...less punishments.. focus on his positive side .....
thanx for your reply. he hadn't been watching anything he was outside playing with mates. yet again tonight he was misbehaving told me a wee white lie [ which i dont abide] i said ok lets get you to bed again tonight without your t.v or game privelidges. he started... saying to me i feel dizzy its always someting when hes punished. yet he fell asleep quite quickly. but of course to me he won the battle the night again as i was up and down to him. r u o.k son how do u feel now etc

sorry hit reply too quickly.... so find out why he was thinking of death, what had he been watching on TV or PC and you have to vet both ...
I would say he is upset by more than being sent to bed for not obeying you,it may be a good idea to find out why he was'sobbing'
