My 5 year old son came home from school today with a note from the teacher that he pulled down his pants in the coat room and showed another student his private parts how much of this is normal behavior?

It seems that the private part showing bug is going around the country today. I just posted my situation (see post by shellie80 about six year old issues). I did some reading on the net today, and found this pdf file that helped, slightly. Here it is: http://www.ncsby.org/pages/publications/Sexual%20DEvlopment%20of%20Children.pdf

I do hope this helps you.

If your child was 10 not normal. 5 is normal. This is a Kindergarten type behavior I have seen time and time again. Have a nice talk with him about privates and where to show them (bathtub)
