Help..Whats going on with my Little Man??

My son just turned 2 this week and for the last couple weeks he has been closing his eyes and knocking in stuff while tipping his head side to side. (as if cracking or stretching the neck) he also at times will do with eyes open but pointed to the side.  Since birth he has been a very dramatic baby. ALWAYS crying, seems always mad. When he wants to he is a very sweet angel. I have always suspected bipolar because he's happy, then sad, then yelling at the top of his lungs. Any ideas?

Bi-polar at age two does not happen.  But something is going on.  I particularly noticed your comments about reaction to materials (and other things).  It is possible that he has Sensory Processing Disorder.  It is something that can be  treated and diagnosed by an Occupational Therapist.
The following link will give you all the information you need to see if it might be something he has and then how to proceed from there.  Keep us posted.

I think that at this point, you have two choices:

1.  Either get a second MD opinion, and/or
2.  Seek a mental health evaluation for your son.

It is difficult to determine what might be going on with your son in a forum such as this.  But is sounds as if the problems are severe enough to warrant professional help.

I have talked to my pediatrician about it and they seem unconcerned by it saying its just the age. I have 5 children (him being the youngest) along with 20+ nieces and nephews and I have NEVER seen it before. At first we thought it was cute and funny but now its very worrisome as he does it a lot even when we are not paying attention to him! Their are certain materials he will SCREAM bloody murder if it touches him, he will NOT wear ANY kind of shoe or sock. He does not listen very well when instructed or disciplined, he screams ALL the time instead of talking. I know some of this is terrible two's  but that motherly instinct just tells me theirs something just not right. :(

By your description, it is difficult to tell what might be going on.  Have you discussed your concerns with his pediatrician, especially about the bipolar-type behaviors?  Considering his age, a lot of these behaviors could simply be a phase.  But it is always a good idea to him evaluated and go from there.
