Children like dolls because they are miniature forms of people, the same way they like toy horses because they are miniature forms of big horses, or toy bears because they are miniature forms of big bears.  They are even more interesting to kids because they are scale models of something they are most familiar with, a person.  Don't deny a boy this kind of fun just because he happens to be male.

Dance and cooking are accessible to children much sooner than, say, team sports and monster-truck rallies.  All kids love to dance.  Many, many kids love to cook.  It is a creative act with a tangible result.

Give him room and don't be alarmed.  Sexual orientation is inherent, nothing about playing with dolls, dancing and cooking can make a boy gay.

I used to play with boys toys as a girl and the dols I had I used to tie pillow cases to there necks and throw them out of windows as parachutes!

I didn't really get interested in girls stuff till I was 13, so I wouldnt worry about your boy, He's probably going to grow up and be very creative.

Why do you need to do anything? But if it really means anything to you then try male "action figures" extra clothes so you have male and female figures.  It is actually rather fu and revealing watching kids play with dolls so far as how they view the roles and people around them.  Also if you are near a larger city that has this try Capoeira it is an African style of martial arts that is very deadly but uses dance to teach it.  I believe the actor Wesley Snipes is on of it's foremost practitioners in the U.S.

Everything is balance and the ancient Samurai thought that the ideal warrior was an artist, florist, calligrapher and martial artist.

Personally I can draw somewhat, weld, cook, sew, shoot, martial arts, massage, write poetry, and dye my daughters hair.  I have fought in one war, and I have confidence enough to approach probably half of the women I am attracted to.

Your baby boy is normal.  Are you worried or is his dad worried?
