8 yrs old behavior

my 8 yrs old telling me that he think bad about me and my husband or my mom and he cry and appologize, that he is sorry to think and get sad tooo but i donot know what is the reason for example he will wake up and say i donot love u mom or u r ugly or u r fat things like that and at the same tim he will cry that he call me names in his head and he is sad about his behavior toooo ... can u please tell me if its normal or he is going through some thing

Sounds as if he is being upset about something check out all is well at school, and has anything new happened recently could have upset him, children very often say upsetting things when they are trying to cope with some other frustration, does he get on well with other Family members.
