PLAYING whole day

Hello doctor,

My Son is 1year old, he is started walking at 7th month and he is now playing whole day..and he cannot sit for a minute, that also if he likes then only he will sit, he want to play lot lot...Doctor can you please suggest, Is it ok for my baby to play whole day...Is he normal or we need to give him some kind of training..please help us....

yeah..he sleeps at 9.30-10.00 and wakes at 6.00am morning...day time he sleeps 3-4 hrs ...[ morning n evening], if he likes some thing..like book or toy..he wil sit and play vt it...

you mean no naps? How long does he sleep at night? Yes he should probably have a rest time during the day.

As far as attention span- no it's not very long til almost age 2- about now he should sit still just long enough to hopefully look at a page or two in a book. Some children sit still for the whole book, some don't Make your goal from week to week sitting for story time.

He is not in the stage he cannot make attention...if you do some thing in the next minut he will try to do the same wot we are teaching him.....as we observed...he observes/learn things very fast....but worry is he didt take much rest...

Your son is ONE year old. I don't know any child at that age who can't sit still. Please give it some time, a lot of time actually, before you start considering that he might have ADD.

Whywould it not be ok for a child to play all day?  This how they learn control of their body and their environment.
