Thank you for your response. I have been told he is too old for early intervention because he is over 3. I am seeking alternatives, but it is not as easy as I would have thought it would be.
Take your baby out of that child care center. Find a student of child development at your local community college who will give your baby the kind of TLC he truly needs! T
Talk to your pediatrician. We are having the same issues with our 3.5 year old. Very frustrating. Our pediatrician recommended psychologists and psychiatrists for us to see. The psychologists will come on site to evaluate our son's behavior (we are at the same stage as you and haven't scheduled an evaluation yet). Also, I'm sure your child care center has other children who are seeing therapists regularly (i know ours does). Ask for a list of therapists who are already seeing children at your center. My daycare center was able to provide me with a list of OTs (OccupationalOccupational asthma Therapists) that come onsite. My daycare even allows them to leave their equipment onsite to make it easier.
