my son is 1yr 8mths...he shows a lot of tantrums of late. he rolls on d ground if not given what he wants. he even raises his hands n starts to kick. And bangs his head too....pls let me know whether this is normal or a stage in his life... he is very loving too. he kicks strangers too without any reason

Yes does sound like normal child behavior, you could try distraction ,especially when he bangs his head, do something silly dance around the house, play some loud music, When he kicks strangers , tell him No ! firmly and remove him from the situation ,if this at home start the time out method. Make sure he is having fun and has plenty of activities, and outside is good ,weather permitting,Get Dad involved in ball games,with him..

Hi there,  Sounds to me like completely normal behaviour for a child coming into the terrible twos!  He will grow out of it.  I think it is important to be consistant in not letting him have his own way in these situations and he will soon try something else.  Good luck!
