I think you can have the court order a paternity test. Once the results are in you can take her to family court for visitation rights.
No, But I do want to, not so much because I don't think he's mine, but I just don't see why she would want to; keep him from knowing his Father. She had a stepfather growing up and when she was about 21 she found out and that he lived close by all along but her Mother wouldn't tell her or allow her father access either. Her stepfather was weird and eventually split up with her mother a few years ago. I know she was troubled, so even more I don't understand her. She will be the on dealing with the consequences when he is older that it wasn't because I didn't want to be a part of his life, but it was her that refused.

I am sorry I can understand you being upset,I think you do need more legal advice about this matter, being resentful isnt going to help, she is the Mom and his legal guardian, I think your lawyer is correct and you have to go for visitation rights , maybe you need a change of lawyer if nothing is happening ...good luck
