what do i do if my 9 year old masurbates

the other week i walked in on my son masturbating at first i was a little worried but the next day he was yalking to me about it and aking questons on sexual matters and i could not answer him in a way he would understand and ithought it might have something to do with hs sisters behaviour (in a diffrent post)but i need help plase if anybody could give me advice

thanks it is reassuring to hear that it is normal and he does it in his own room with his door closed so we ahve made sure to knock before entering his room but i am poud he could come to talk our family is very open to sensitive issues but he felt he should talk to me insted of my wife but i ahve told her the storyas well but thanks for the help

If it was in his own room he is coming up to an age where it would be good to knock on his door , it is a very good thing he is open to talking about it , its all normal and should be treated as that, there are books out there and the internet has sites on child sexuality,play it cool , hes getting to the age where there will be more of this most is curiosity at 9 kind of figuring it out .. .
