Tiptoeing Habitually

My 2 1/3 daughter walks on her toes from the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to bed. Even when she has shoes on she walks on the toes. I took her to an orthopedic doctor after she turned one because of a slight curve in her ankles. He said that if she didn’t seem like she was not walking normal by age three to take her back (she did not tiptoe at this point). Since age 2 she has been walking on her toes habitually. When I tell her to walk on her feet she does for about 10 seconds then goes right back up on her toes. Her birthday is in August, should I wait until then to take her back to the doctor?

I dont see that less than 2 months is going to make a differance take her back now, I am wondering if you stop telling her to walk on her feet may help sometimes children will do the opposite because its getting some feedback its not going to stop it anyway , so ignore her doing it for the moment ,it could be its getting her attention so she will do it more . In fact try distraction from her feet altogether ..be noncalent like it doesnt matter...Good luck let us know what the Doctor said, .
