I am in shock after reading some information on behavioral issues. I have been looking up remedies on how to discipline my 2 yr old daughter but I never imagined it could be a chemical imbalance. She has been suspended from her daycare 2 times already and I am so embarresed. I dont know what else to do. She has itchy skin, eczema and always thirsty. Is it safe to give this Efalex to my daughter? I mean she is only 2 1/2 years old.

This discussion is related to 2 1/2 yr old throwing tantrums and hurting children in daycare.

I too, would have her checked for diabetes.  The constant thirst is concerning.

The answer here is to take her to the Doctor and ask him what is going on, most of the remedies  have to be prescribed anyway , seek some help. Also check out what is happening in her life if she is at day care does it have fun games do they stimulate the children enough, the symptoms you describe could be caused by being upset.Get her checked out .

It sounds like she may have diabetes,  jen.    Pretty classic symptoms,  as well as the behavioral issues in unchecked juvenile diabetes.
