! 1/2 was very young to be dry most times children are not fully potty trained until they are 3 years old .,so this could be a regression brought about by concern for her brother. I wouldn't make any big thing about it, keep asking her to use the bathroom and be patient, it will pass. You are all having a hard time .,good luck

I would not press the issue with her at all.  I have read a lot about children who are potty trained very young, and it is not uncommon to have a regression.  It's also not uncommon at all for a 3 year old to have accidents.  I would just get her pull ups, and not make an issue out of this at all.  I would let her take the lead in using the potty, etc.  Best of luck, and I am so sorry to hear about your son.  I hope and pray that all turns out well and he is healthy again.

It could be that she is upset about her brother being sick, she has probably heard talk about it, so plenty of reassuring and patience, is her brother older or younger, and how is he doing ?
