Update on Child abuse

My former babysitter was charged with child abuse.  She goes before the DA on Jan 24.  They talked to me and want to offer a plea bargain, 18 mos probation, a mental health eval, an anger mgmt course, and the charge stays on her background.  They said her attorney will not be happy, I'm sure not....  But at least they do not want to plea it down.

We will not know anything for sure until Jan 24th, but I hope it sticks.  She needs to have these consequences.    It's sad and I do hope she can get some help and be receptive to it.

Well, the bottom line is that she has consequences.  Sometimes it isn't as much as we'd like---------- but that she has some is important.  I'm so sorry that this has happened.
