This is very common at this age. Just be patient, he will sleep all night when he is ready. Make sure he goes to sleep with a full tummy, sometimes they wake up because of hunger or a wet diaper. Just be patient and take care.
yes i agree with gina04 its very common
Not to discourage you but...it is very common for children to not sleep through the night until they are a few years old. If you have taught him to fall asleep on his own, he will be more likely to sleep through the night than if you've taught him to only fall asleep when he is rocked, etc. Many babies who are fed on a schedule will sleep through the night much earlier. Both of my kids slept through the night by about two months old. My friends who fed on demand had kids who were older than two years old and still not sleeping through the night. I authored a parenting ebook that deals with feeding schedules, getting your baby to sleep through the night early on, boundaries, etc. I wrote it as something you would do from the day the baby was born. However, if you apply the principles now, it is possible your child would be sleeping through the night by his first birthday. If you would like a free copy of the ebook, you can send me a message letting me know which email address you would like me to send it to.
