my 4 year old is so violent and very hyper dont sleep at night she can be ok one minute then turn very nasty and hit out

im having trouble with my 4 year old daughter she is very violent and very hyper she dont sleep well she can be fine one minute then turns very nasty she kicks bites swears and tries to stab me with knife i have to lock all doors to stop her running away i have to hide knifes i need to know what is wrong this is not normal behaviour

ive been to doctors about my 4year old they say nothing they can do cause of her age even have health vistor out weekly do everything she tells me nothing works im at breaking point

Do you think she could have learned this behavior,  it sounds extreme as if you both need help ,I beleive the best thing would be to take her to the doctor and tell him of this behavior, sounds like some professional help is called for .
