Some kids are wiggle worms. See if they can give him some choices------ let him move around a bit. For my boy, the more I do outside of school hours, the better he does at staying calm (seated) at school. Good luck
its nice to hear..i will try best..the only problem with him is not sitting....rest all is fine and ok..his attention span...etc....
So here is what I would do. Switch it. When he is with you--------- do things with him (not watch tv or let him play alone). Get him outside to parks to run, swing, roll, climb, jump, skip etc. as much as possible ------------ like every single day. It is really hard on a little one bursting with energy to spend all day at day care and then come home and do very little physical and go back to day care and maitain themselves all day.
Swim lessons, kicking a soccer ball, jumping on a mattress at home, dancing to music, making music with a drum, doing crazy animal walks especially crab and bear and leap frog, . These are all activities that calm the nervous system. I'd incorporate more into your day.
My son has something called sensory integration disorder which can look like he can't stay still or pay attention------------ and it is much worse at school than home. It is an issue with the nervous system and can cause a child to appear hyperactive. What I listed above calms the nervous system. Your guy is still so little---------- really, he may just be full of energy. but you have to give him the outlet to get rid of that energy before school. Good luck
