aniexty

my son is 4 1/2  and has always had separation aniexty and seemed to be getting better but lately he has been having little tantrums  and doesn't want to go places although he is fine once he goes.  it is like he is antisocial but fine once he is out with other kids.  he repeats things once in awhile too, not all the time. (words mostly, like ok, ok)
how can i get him to be more social and try new things and go places without me, dad or gramma or the familar person?

Perhaps when he was younger he was always with his immediate Family and Gran and Granpa, he feels safest with the Familiar, and perhaps as he is okay once he is alone ,has he sensed some former anxiety from you ,just keep doing what you are, introduce him to new people and outings and remember as he is fine when alone he'll be okay. He will get into the Habit of you being away sometimes, dont make a big deal of leaving just say Bye see you soon and Go.Hes pretty normal,
