Toliet training

I have three boys.  A 6 yr old and an almost 4 yr old as well as a 19 month old.  I have been trying everyhting to get the 6yr old to use the toilet on regular basis and have just recently got him peeing.  He chooses not to use the toilet when he needs to for bowel movements and ends up having many "accidents" before actually having a BM.  The 4yr. old has always been really good about going poop and pee on the toilet but has started to not even bother using the toilet for a BM.  I can't say I have handled it in the best way that I could but I have certainly tried everything I've ever read.  We've done sticker charts and earning computer time.  We've also just tried not to react and to get really angry; we've had them clean themselves up and taken things away from them.  I've been very patient but am starting to get really frustrated and resentful towards them and have less and less patience.  Any suggestions?

Have you talked to the dr? My friends son and step-son suffer from this and it is from constipation. Part of it is psychological because they relate BM with pain so when they know it is coming they block it out because they relate it to pain. When they get really full, it often causes some wetness to occur to because the pressure on the bladder to. The doctor put them on Mirolax daily. It helps and I think I could of ended up in this same situation with mine to but I found Kondremuhl which is basically whipped mineral oil and I put it in their bottles and it helped regulate them during the formula and a lot of milk and binding foods younger years but prior to that my son was trying to hold it in. It helped mine get over the fear. You may want to try both and talk to the dr.... Hope that helps... Hers are 7 and 12 and I feel for her and you....
