Silvie, this is actually kind of common, especially if she was very proud of what she had said to you.
For example, a kid who notices the milk has been left out and helpfully says "oh the milk is out, I'll put it back" might repeat the sentence under their breath because it was kind of a success. Is that what you sense from her? That she's just kind of re-enjoying what she said to you?
I have not discussed it with her yet as I just noticed it. I want to be able to talk to her about it in the correct way and not have her feel like I'm interferring. We have a pretty open relationship so I won't have a problem telling her.
I doubt it, every childhood behavior does not mean they have a disorder, a lot of children repeat their words maybe as an after thought ,it is possible you are overly concerned because of your son ,what does hte childs Mom think about this behavior.?
