toddler masterbation

my daughter is 4 and she has been putting covers and sheets or her hands between her legs and humping everysince she was a few months old and now that she is four i feel that i should start breaking her out of this habbit although she only does it to go to sleep should i be worried about someone touching her or thats normal...

I would certainly say it is unusual to see a baby of a few months doing this, and it sounds excessive so it may be a good idea to check out all avenues , have you casually asked her why she does it and has she anyone else do this, is she alone with anyone but you on a regular basis ,any older sibling , relatives ? its always good to be aware and check out anything you feel uncertain about .Good Luck
