8.5 year old son

I have an 8.5year old son has epilepsy is takes Depalept twice a day as well
as 20mg. ritalin, he's also ADD. My question is this, he used to be fat at a
little kid up to the age of 6 then he went under weight by  a few kilos be last
year he started to eat again and is now a few kils over weight. He only eats
well at night lets at about 18.00 he eats his main meal but during the day
he really does not eat much, no snacks, no bread etc as he doent like them,
so why in fact is he fat. ??

His height is 125 and his weight is 30 kilo

From the measurements you gave me, your son is about normal weight / height for his age. For his age the median weight is approximately 28kg and height is 132cm. If you are concerned, then I suggest increasing his physical activity. That may increase his appetite too during the day.
