Only wanted a bottle

My daughter is just 18months and I am having a terrible time with getting her to eat anything with a nutritional value...Chips Doritos that she see adults eating ..She is there...once ina  great while she will eat noodles or picky foods...but only wants the bottle...She goes through tantrums and crying so bad that I give in and just give her the bottle...She probably drinks about 5-6 8oz bottles a day....Any suggestions

She is in the upper levels for her weight and height for her age so that means she is growing despite her eating habits. Children around 2 years old may become picky eaters. They get very busy with the world around them to sit down and eat. Mealtimes can be a battlefield when children do not have an interest to eating or eat very little. It becomes the battle of the wits between the child and the parents. Remember meals need to be joyous for parents and the child. If he will not eat a certain food, do not make a fuss over it. Give him some other food alternatives. Then let it go and enjoy the meal. Lead by example. Slowly introduce new foods, and if he does not want it, do not make a fuss over it. Let it go and enjoy the meal. Try again in a few months. If this does not work then have your daughter checked by her MD.

Would you please state her weight (in kg or lbs) and height so I can assess her nutritional status. Thank you.
