Help 2 months and ongoing

I have been dealing with my daughter not eating and drinking off and on for the past 2 months.  Now she is sleeping all the time.  When I take her to the hospitals all they do is give her a bag of IV fluids and a shot for nausea and send us home.  I am getting worried because the IV fluids just seems to be a short fix.  Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone dealt with this.  The not eating and not drinking has not been constant for the past two months but this will happen for like a week and then she will eat for the next week and then not eat for two weeks.  I am worried about her but get tired of going to the hospital only to get sent back home

Children usually do not stop eating weeks at a time unless they are not feeling well. Suggest going to a Pediatrician (not the Hospital ED) and getting her checked/tested medically and treated if something is wrong. The EDs at hospitals help to stabilize the patient but it is our responsibility to follow-up with our own MD.

my son is 4 and just over 30lbs.  There were a couple of times he didn't grow between well visits.  They tried to test him for UTI but I do not know why exactly.  Something about UTI's affects their eating is all I remember.  This is about 3 yrs running.
