PID now?

How possible is it that having chlamydia a few years ago could give me Pelvic inflammatory disease NOW? I have read that having chlamydia and gonorrhea can and/or will give a woman PID but what kind of chance is there of me developing PID now? Am I still at risk?

I'm assuming you got it treated a few years ago, so that wouldn't be your cause.

Did they do any testing to find out what is causing your PID now?  Is there a possibility that you got it again?  Also, not all PID cases are from stds, so I hope your doc did some testing.
