Chronic Nerve Pain in Face

Hi - I just found this site and I hope someone can give me some advice. I have a hot/cold burning sensation down the middle of my face including forehead, nose upper gums around eyes and across cheeks that gets increasingly severe as the day goes on. This happens on a daily basis with sleep as my only relief. I work at a desk in front of a computer 32 hours a week and it's very difficult. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 8 years ago and went through a myriad of meds including: Lyrica, Neurontin, Cymbalta and a few other anti-depressants. I also had an Occipital Nerve block but nothing has helped. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am wondering if you have trigeminal neuralgia?  It can cause excruciating unrelenting pain.  You may need to go to a pain center where they are adept at finding ways to lessen pain.  For sure it is not good to have pain every day.  You can set up a cycle of pain that is unrelenting.

I have noted this site has few members so I am not sure if you are still around.  Let me know if you are and get this post.  Marie
