Flu like symptoms 5 times in 2 months

Hello, I started a new job after a long period of being out of work. I started in March. Since then I have had flu like symptoms over 6 times, maybe more but most recently it's been worst and less time between intervals. Staring about a month and a half ago, I've had these symptoms occur at least 5 times. It's always the same. They start out with an awful headache that is debilitating for about 30 mins to 2 hours depending on the incident, usually 10-15 mins into the headache my stomach starts to unsettle, leaving me feeling a tiny bit nauseous but getting worse as time passes. I hate throwing up, it's always been painful, so I try to hold it in but usually after 45 I can't hold it in and I begin to vomit, painfully and then I have heavy sweats, sometimes accompanied by cold shivers. It's usually almost 90% gone the next day, never lasting longer than 12 hours. The first time I assumed it was the flu and the second time food poisoning. But now it's like it happens every 2 weeks and sometimes closer. I'm freaking out as I can't miss any more work and I'm genuinely scared of getting it again because it is so painful. I have no clue what it is,nobody else in household of 5 other people seem to get it when I do. Could it be stress? Exposure from germs from my 7 year old girl who is around other kids at school? Any information would help tremendously. I am really worried something isn't right. I used to never get sick before. It was rare I'd ever get the flu, maybe once a year but not this, it's been 5 times in the past 2 months! Also I am 6 foot 1, about 230 lbs and 29 yrs old. If that helps.
