I have a sore throat and now sores on my tongue

by ittlegurl, Feb 14, 2008 12:33PM
This started over 2 weeks ago when I woke up with the top of my chest burning. I had this cough that was very painful. Within days I had a virus, so it seemed. Aches and pains, runny nose, sinus pressure, sore throat. After 7 days all of a sudden I had no voice and wasn't able to talk above a whisper during that time. I can talk now... but now I have developed sores on the back of my tongue. My throat is constantly soar and I have a lot of pain while swallowing. Any suggestions?

Well, if it's any consolation to you, ittlegurl, it's now March 30, 2008 and I have the exact same problem.  I hope you got yours settled.  My wife has the sore throat, and she's pregnant so she hasn't been able to take anything for it.
