dizzy, rash & general unwell feeling.

Thank god ive stumbled across this site.. ive been feeling unwell for the past 4 days - thought it was just a case of the flu (would be my first this year!)  Im a active fitness freak and eat well.  As of monday I began to feel light headed, yesterday morning I fell on the kitchen floor whist carrying breakfast to the table, I feel quite light headed and got form being freezing cold to hot and sweaty. Last night I woke at 3am with a rash all over my upper thighs and tummy - more like massive mozzie bites that have joined together - pale red and raised off skin.  Have got ongoing headaches, nausea and no energy but quite a constant thirst for water or watered down juice - usually I would love to drink milk/tea but the thought makes me feel horrid.. I dont usually go to the drs unless necessary as I know general flu season is here but this feels different, I dont want to drive to the dr either in case I get the dizzy feeling happening in the car.
Is a day in bed with panadol my best bet to get over this?

i think you really nead to go to the doctor, if you feel you cant drive then let someone drive for you... usually your symptoms can be related to dengue cause by a mosquito bites.. one of the best to describe it is the rashes like called petichae( a dot dots redish or pinkish colored).... go to the doctor now

no i think you should see your gp. these could be the symptoms of meningitus.. are you sensitive to light? do your joints ache? i think you should really call a doctor out to you.. maybe you just have low blood pressure this can cause light headedness and dizzy spells and also headaches. Have you had unprotected sex you could also be pregnant .. as you can tell there are alot of possibilties and going to your gp is the best option. One more thing.. Do you use tampons? reply asap if you do!. hope this helps

thanks for all your replies, im going to see dr in an hour - i just have to and thankfully this dr is literally 2 mins away so i can drive.  My usual gp who i have seen past 20yrs is 45mins away and i cant drive that far so will see what this dr has to say and then go from there.
im fairly sure Im not pregnant, I do have a 3.5yr old and dont remember feeling like this ever.  I am on the pill and it has worked for past 10 years so assuming it still is.
I will let you know how i get on.
thank you for your help.
