G'day. Firstly let me thank anyone who responds to this - i appreciate your time.
I am a little concerned over a recent rash i have developed. After reading up on the similarities of flu symptoms and various other ailments I felt the need to seek an educated opinion.
It is currently friday night/saturday morning (03.49) where i am. Early Tuesday evening i started feeling a little tickle in my throat and excess mucus in my nose/back of my throat. This usually indicates to me that i am getting sick however i usually have a few days to dose up on vitamin C and relevant preventative measures. By late Tuesday night I was feeling very ordinary and went to bed. By wednesday morning i was very very sick from what was apparently nothing. I have not left the house and rarely ventured out of bed. Wednesday and Thursday nights i was very very hot (fever/temperature) and sweating profusely, however i felt very cold and was shaking. I had such sever aches in my body that i couldnt lie down to sleep, yet i did not have enough strength in my body to stand. This morning i feel a little better and am no longer shaking nor sweating. I feel a little stronger, yet i did develop an eyesight problem (blurred vision) for around 12-16 hours. As you can probably appreciate, i have been freaking out quite a bit!! My sense of touch and awareness seems to have returned (previously i felt in a constant state of 'out-of-body' like i was actually watching myself) and i now have a cough (which usually means that i am reaching the end of a cold/flu and getting better).
BUT the whole point of me writing here is because i seem to have developed a light rash around my belly button. I have an 'innie' belly button, and just on the inside of the hole/ring i have a red rash. It is not reallly lumpy or bumpy or itchy or weepy or anything like that, its just a red ring that shouldnt be there and has never been there before.
I will be perfectly happy if someone can tell me that it's just coincidence and im paranoid and everything will be fine in a few days, but thought i'd ask the question just in case.
Thank you for reading my long-winded explanation, i appreciate it.
Daniel.
