Tracking cold and flu with web 2.0?

There are some really cool sites out there that offer interactive maps tracking and trending the spread of the flu (and various other diseases). The most interesting one I have seen is www.germtrax.com , but there are some others (www.healthap.org and www.flunearyou.com ). What do you think about using public internet technology for flu-tracking?

Hey, blah (hope that is not how you feel)

I think it is a good thing. By keeping track on movements and seeing when it is near you can help each person doing so take good preventative measure so as not to get the flu at all!
