Junk mail

Recently I have been getting a bunch of junk mail ,does this happen to you guys, and apart from changing my e-mail address, is there anything I can do, some of the stuff that comes in are not from anysite or googling  I have done so I dont understand why I get it ..Thanks guys

Some email programs have spam filters built in. Outlook for example will let you enable junk mail filtering and you can set the level of protection (ie, you can lower the protection level if you find too many "good" emails going into the junk folder).

My ISP also filters spam at their end, so much of it never gets to my email client. Be worth a call to your ISP.

Some of the antivirus programs also offer spam filters (and some are free) but I've never played with those.

. I must look into it I do have protection maybe it is the level that needs adjusting, thank you ..I will check that out ..spam filters ..

I don't get much junk mail - my ISP also has filters to weed out junk before it gets to my mailbox - Actually, I like getting the small amount of junk mail!  always good for a laugh if nothing else!
