Breast Reduction Pain

Breast Reduction Pain

Two years ago this September I had a breast reduction. I went back to my PS several times complaining of the pain on the left side of my left breast and the difference in size on the sides of the breast. He said it was due to my size that he was unable to make the sides even. I'm 5'8 and was 163 at the time of surgery and was a double to a triple D
He said he could repair it for 2000.00. But if he made the mistake why should I have to pay?
My insurance covered the surgery and I could not afford to pay the extra to have him redo the one side.
There for Two years out, I still have pain and it's still uncomfortable to put pressure on the left side. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Im in Northern VA and have Tricare retiree Ins.

Persistent symptoms of pain this far out from a breast reduction is unusual.  This needs to be evaluated at least with a clinical exam and mammography.  It seems that this should be an insurance covered evaluation and I would suggest you discuss this with your primary care physician.  As far as achieving more symmetry, any additional insurance covered surgical care may be more problematic.  It may even be possible to achieve more symmetry with simple liposuction.  This needs to be discussed with a plastic surgeon.
