subcutaneous atrophy

Dr Greenburg,   I have post steroid injection sq atrophy of my metatarsal fat pad. At base of second toe and persists 2.5 years later. This is disabling and I would go anywhere to find help. You used saline with limited success. I am ordering that article and will try. Have you come across other treatments?    I wonder about autologous fat injection to reflate the fat pad. Can you guide me to anyone who is very interested in trying to help, or any other resource?

I have no experience with fat atrophy from steroid injections of the foot.  I would consult an orthopedic surgeon or a podiatrist.
